Kens Towing Inc
Their principal clients are Arkansas State Police, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and other local police departments. Other clients include motor clubs and private customers. Ken's Towing sees their trucks as rolling billboards, and so their graphics are carefully designed for maximum visibility and impact. Since Ken grew up around tow trucks, he had plenty of time to think about how a tow truck would best show off its abilities. When he was ready to start out on his own, he put all that dreaming and study into his own trucks.
Driver training is a major and ongoing effort at Ken's Towing, and all drivers undergo a rigorous training period both in-house and through nationally certified programs. "No Hill Too Steep, No Ditch Too Deep" - is this company's motto! The company fields Multiple State of the art Heavy Duty Wreckers, Medium duty tow trucks with side pull Winches, a 4x4 off-road recovery truck, 3 Rollback wreckers from 6 ton to 15 ton, a Kenworth Road Tractor & 53 foot sliding axle trailer, and a major accident scene recovery response trailer to handle traffic control, emergency lighting and hazardous material clean-up when needed. Their fleet of units also include 3 road side service vehicles ready to assist with any roadside repairs needed.
Ken's Towing is an example of what four generations of towing experience and a lot of pride in the job can create.
Ken's Towing of Ozark, Arkansas was started in July of 1986 by Ken and Lori Pence in Muldrow, Oklahoma with a one-ton Chevrolet tow truck they built themselves. The busy years between then and 2013 have added twelve new units including tow trucks and service vehicles, and they now service two states from an office in Ozark, Arkansas. Their new state-of-the-art facility with repair shop and office is a long way from the early days of the late eighties, but as Ken and Lori say, "It's been a long road, but a fun road!"
